David A. Tourigny, Sr., known as “Trigger” by his friends in the Army National Guard, a lifelong resident of Weymouth, died October 10, 2016 at the age of 65.
David worked as a facilities assistant for National Fire Protection Association in Quincy for 30 years. He also served in the Army National Guard for 25 years. A life member of the Weymouth Lodge of Elks, Dave enjoyed golf, camping and spending time with family.
Beloved husband of Arlene A. (Reilly) Tourigny. Loving father of Cher-Marie Tourigny and Dave Tourigny, Jr. and his wife Colleen, all of Weymouth. Devoted “Pepere” of Jason Landrum, Charlotte and Violet Tourigny. Brother of Raymond Tourigny of Las Vegas, NV, Charles Tourigny of Carson City, NV, Diane Towle of Weymouth and the late Lucille Perry and Lorraine Emberley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday, Oct. 14 from 5-9 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Committal service will be on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016 at 10 AM in the MA National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David may be made to N.E. Center and Home for Veterans, 17 Court Street, Boston, MA 02108.
