David was born in Montour Falls, New York, a son of the late Richard M. and Rosalie (Civiletti) Beynon of Scranton, PA. He has lived in Brockton for the past 5 years, and formerly in Weymouth for several years.


David received degrees from Keystone Junior College in PA in Art, Massachusetts College of Art in Photography, and Massachusetts Bay Community College in Medical Records Coding. Besides being a talented photographer, David was a dedicated employee of Massachusetts General Hospital for many years in the Medical Records Department.


David’s interests included photography, gardening, singing in the choir at his previous church, and especially, movies and music. He was also very interested in history and belonged to The Society for Creative Anachronism, a group which studies and re-creates the Middle Ages.


David was the beloved husband, for 42 years, of Stephanie (Osborne) Beynon; loving father of Richard T. Beynon and his wife, Bethliz Beynon, and devoted grandfather to Alaïa Beynon of Brockton. He was the brother of Mark Beynon and his wife, Jahn Beynon of Santa Rosa, California, and brother in law to Edwin Osborne, Jr. and his wife Joanne Walters of Trenton, NJ.


A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 2 PM at Old South Union Church, 25 Colombian Street, South Weymouth, MA 02190.
