Dennis J. Richards

Dennis J. “DJ” Richards, of Whitman, passed away on November 18, 2025. He was 72.

Dennis enjoyed R and B soul music, scratch tickets, beer, skeletons, and being surrounded by his loving family and friends.

His family described him a kind person and a great personality and he will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Cherished son of the the late Kenneth and Anna (Marshall) Richards.

Beloved husband of the late Elaine (Cavanaugh) Richards.

Loving brother of Jeannette King of Whitman, Ralph Richards and his wife, Kathy of North Carolina, Daniel Richards and his partner Sharon, of Hanover, Stephen Richards and his partner, Mary of Pennsylvania,and the late Kenneth Richards, Jr, James Richards Sr, and John Richards.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 12/1/2025 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A prayer service will be held at 6 PM.
