Donald E. Conboy

Conboy, Donald E. of Marco Island, FL, formerly of Quincy & Dorchester, April 17, 2008. Beloved husband of Gertrude “Trudy” (Arnold) Conboy. Loving father of Roger H. Conboy of Royse City, TX, Donald E. Conboy, Jr. of Weymouth, Dianne & husband Russell Melanson of Weymouth, and James L. Conboy & wife Deborah of Braintree. Also survived by 9 grandchildren. Donald was the owner and operater of Conboy Insurance Agency in Boston for 22 years, retiring in 1986. Previously, he worked as a milk man at White Brothers Milk for 11 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII with the occupation troops in Japan and was a member of the Quincy City Club. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. QUINCY, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in memory of Donald may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 55584, Boston, MA 02205.
