Donald Francis Kuzia

Donald Kuzia of Dorchester, passed away unexpectedly on May 28, 2025 at age 84. Born in Boston, living most of his life in the "Savin Hill" neighborhood of Dorchester.

After graduating from English High School, he enlisted in the Navy. He served 4 years. Donald worked most of his life as a computer analyst for the Massachusetts State Police. Retiring after a lengthy tenure in 2002.

He loved traveling. Many summers were spent on his boat "Night Watch" exploring the waters of Massachusetts Bay.

Donald is predeceased by his parents Chester and Frances and his older brother Chester Kuzia Jr. He also leaves behind his nieces, Pamela Kuzia and her partner Robert Shields of Weymouth, Dru Gillespie and her husband Michael of Methuen, and Mark Kuzia of Dorchester.

Also survived by great nephews, Matthew Russell and his wife Ashley of Haverhill, Michael Gillespie Jr. of Quincy, and Erik Gillespie of Haverhill.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 9:00-10:00 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10 AM on Tuesday June 10, 2025 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM.
