Donna Horvath

Donna Horvath passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, surrounded by love. She was 79 years old.

Born on March 29, 1946, in Boston, Massachusetts, Donna later made her home in Weymouth after marrying the love of her life, Michael Horvath. There, she raised her family and made a home, where family always came first.

Donna absolutely adored her grandchildren; they were the center of her world. Life was truly all about her grandkids. Nowhere was this more evident than at Christmastime, when her living room overflowed with gifts, leaving barely any room to walk as she delighted in making the holiday magical for them. Being their Nana was her greatest joy.

She was easygoing, carefree, and deeply proud of her family and the life they built together. Donna enjoyed staying active, participating in bowling leagues, spending summers on the boat and at Town River Yacht Club. Alongside her husband, she traveled the world, creating countless beautiful memories. Donna and Michael shared many loving years together, caring deeply for one another, she truly loved him with all her heart.

Donna was predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Michael Horvath; her parents, Phillip and Florence David; her siblings, Debra Peckham and Phillip David; and her daughter-in-law, Sandra L. Horvath.

She is survived by her loving sons, Michael Horvath, Jr. and his fiancé, Kimberly Kenney, of Cape Coral, Florida, and Mark Horvath and his wife, Therese, of Killingly, Connecticut. She was a proud and devoted Nana to Mark Jr., Courtney, Sarah, and Cassidy, who were the light of her life.

Donna is also survived by her siblings, Phyllis Rice, and William David, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her kind spirit and loving heart.

Donna’s legacy lives on through her family, the memories she created, and the love she gave so freely. She will be remembered always for her warmth, devotion, and the joy she brought to those around her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 12/19/2025 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square). A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:00 AM on Saturday 12/20/2025 prior to the burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
