Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Donna Panarelli, a lifelong resident of Quincy, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2026. She was 69.

She was born in Milton to Josephine (Tedesco) and Matteo Panarelli and raised in Quincy. She graduated from North Quincy High School, Class of 1975 and then went on to earn her associate’s degree with Aquinas College. After graduating Donna began working as a legal secretary for Nutter, McClennen & Fish LLP. Her dedication to the firm yielded a 40-year career and many lasting friendships.

In her spare time, Donna enjoyed traveling, especially to New York. When she was home, she often tended to her garden and spent time with her beloved cats.

Donna was a fiercely independent woman with a strong spirit and a mind of her own. She knew who she was, stood firm in her beliefs, and had the strength and determination to face life on her own terms. She was never one to simply follow the crowd, and she carried herself with a quiet confidence that was uniquely her own. Beneath that strength was a woman who cared deeply and lived life in her own way, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew and loved her.

Cherished daughter of Josephine Panarelli of Quincy and the late Matteo Panarelli. Loving sister to Michael Panarelli and his wife Linda of TX, Ronald Panarelli of RI, Paul Panarelli of Stoughton and the late Stephen Panarelli. Also survived by her niece Bregitta and many cousins and extended family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday, October 18th, from 1-3 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, October 19th, at 10 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s name may be made to American Humane, 1400 16th Street NW, Suite 360, Washington, DC 20036. See www.Keohane.com for directions and online condolences.
