Dorothy C. Jarvie

Jarvie, Dorothy C. (Feeney) of Quincy, formerly of Charlestown, February 23, 2009. Beloved wife of 65 years to Alexander T. Jarvie. Loving mother of Paul A. Jarvie & wife Sharon of Quincy. Devoted grandmother of Alex, Carolyn, and Michael Jarvie. Sister of James J. Feeney of Wells, ME, the late Helen Annese, and the late John J. Feeney. Dorothy was born, raised, and lived most of her life in Charlestown before moving to Quincy 10 years ago. While in Charlestown, she was very active and volunteered many hours at St. Catherine’s Church. A lifelong reader, Dorothy loved her 21 years as the Boston Public Library Book Mobile librarian, retiring in 1980. Dorothy was an excellent bowler and enjoyed gardening. She will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Thursday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 PM. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
