Watt, Dorothy F. (Cosgrove) of Quincy, December 15, 2002. Beloved mother of Cynthia J. Watt of South Yarmouth, and the late Stephen Watt. Loving sister of Richard Cosgrove of Braintree, Barbara Hoyt of Abington and the late Phyllis Plapis and William Cosgrove. Grandmother of Matthew Watt. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St., Wollaston on Saturday, January 4 at 1:00 PM. Dot started as an apartment manager with apartments on Spear St., then the Cove on Southern Artery and lastly the Clipper Apartments. President of the Residence Council for the year 2000 at Hancock Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Avid Red Sox Fan. She was a nursing home activist. She petitioned people to address the nursing home crisis. She received many letters in response from politicians. She loved to write short stories and letters. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Dot may be made to the Activities Fund, Hancock Park, 164 Parkingway, Quincy, MA 02169.
