O’Brien, Dorothy “Dot” M. (Schneider) of Quincy, peacefully passed away January 2, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Dot was the most loving and caring woman whose family and friends were at the center of her life. Her smile was vibrant and her laugh heart warming. She enjoyed sharing stories of her youth and really cared about her family. She always looked forward to being able to relax and read or go on trips to the beach. She had a passion for painting nautical landscapes and was an awarded member of the Quincy Art Association. O’Brien and his wife Peggy of Whitman and Karen Donahue and her husband John of Kingston. Devoted Grammy of Kevin O’Brien and his wife Lauren of Raynham and Maura Donahue and her boyfriend Ian Newton of Plymouth. Cherished Great Grandmother of Madelyn Anne O’Brien.
