Dricim Hoxha

Dricim Hoxha, age 76, of Quincy, MA passed away on August 31st peacefully, at home surrounded with his loved ones, after a long illness that never stopped him from living his life to fullest.

Born on April 11, 1949, in Tirana, Albania to parents Margarita and Medi Hoxha. He graduated from Petro Nini Luarasi high school and later earned a college degree from the Shkolla e Bashkuar Ushtarake military school. He worked as an officer of the Albanian Army and later ran his own business until he moved to the US to live with his eldest daughter and family.

He loved life and was always ready to help anyone in need. He welcomed friends and family with open arms and cherished family trips to farms and fishing spots. He especially enjoyed taking his family to children’s theaters, the circus, the beach, and every show or concert he could find. His home was always filled with guests and the inviting aroma of home-cooked food. Wherever he went, he made a friend.

Beloved husband to Elza Hoxha. Devoted father to Evis and her husband Adi and Anjeza and her husband Arsen. Adoring grandfather to Ridi, Seada, Markel and Kevin. Loving brother to Zana and her husband Adriatik, Drita and her husband Perparim. Brother-in-law to Genci and his wife Flutura. Uncle to Florian and Esla with their two kids Mattia and Goele, Alban and Bertina and their kids Ninette and Elio, Klodi and Edel with the beautiful Murphy, Xhenis and Pietro and their daughter Anya, Endri, Kristi and Argena. Also survived by his aunts, Fatmira and Jeta and many cousins. Predeceased by his parents, Margarita and Medi Hoxha.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 6-9 PM and on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 11 AM-12:45 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. Burial at Pine Hill Cemetery.
