McMahon, Eileen E. (Sullivan) of Weymouth, passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 28, 2024. She was 75.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Alice (Lowther) Sullivan.
Eileen’s life was a testament to the power of nurturing love, as she cherished every moment spent with her family. Eileen’s lifelong dream was to embrace the role of motherhood, a dream she fulfilled with unparalleled grace and devotion.
Her laughter was the music of family gatherings, and her presence was the heart of every celebration. Eileen’s love for fun was infectious, brightening the lives of all who knew her. Those who had the privilege of experiencing her warmth will remember her as the embodiment of love, kindness, and gentleness.
Eileen’s memory will be treasured as a guiding light of compassion and a reminder of the simple joys of life. Her spirit will continue to inspire those she touched, and her love will forever be woven into the fabric of her family’s history. Eileen, a vibrant soul whose love for the color purple was as deep as her zest for life. She brought color to the lives of all who knew her, and in her memory, we kindly ask guests to honor her by wearing shades of purple at the celebration of her life.
Predeceased by her husband Brian McMahon. Loving mother to Michael McMahon of Upland, CA, Kerri McMahon of Quincy, and Erin Sciarappa and her husband Adam of Weymouth. Grandmother to Kayla Medeiros and her husband Michael, Kylie Sciarappa, Cole Sciarappa, Mason Morash, Ryan McMahon, and Liam McMahon. Dear sister to Patricia Hagerty and her husband Jack and Robert Sullivan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as a Ma to all.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in Eileen’s name may be made to Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
