Eleanor Doneghey

Doneghey, Eleanor (Holland) of South Weymouth, died peacefully July 15, 2013 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Eleanor grew up in Roxbury before marrying her husband and moving to Milton, where they raised their family.  She received her associates degree in Business.  Eleanor was a devoted homemaker, who was always willing to help those in need, volunteering at various organizations as well as taking care of her family.  She was a strong, compassionate woman.  Eleanor and her husband enjoyed traveling and they traveled extensively.  Eleanor’s primary focus on life was her family.

Pre deceased by the love of her life of 57 years, John P. Doneghey.  Beloved mother of Robert Doneghey and his wife Margaret of Abington, Barbara Campbell and her husband Roger of S. Weymouth, Mark Doneghey of S. Weymouth, Maureen Connolly and her husband Michael of E. Taunton and the late Stephen Doneghey. Loving sister of Dorothy McLaughlin of Bridgewater and the late Margeurite Garrity, Eileen Eaton, Catherine Page and Teresa Burke. Devoted Nana to 13 grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  All services will be private.
