Elener M. Torvi

Torvi, Elener M. (Wheeler), a 70 year resident of Hingham, passed away December 18, 2009 after a brief illness. Beloved wife of Frank A. Torvi. Loving mother of Gail Bryant of Jupiter, FL and Sally Sanderson of Carver. Sister of Gloria Cicchese of Plymouth & Alabama, 2 late sisters, and 3 late brothers. Devoted grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Elener had a love of animals. She enjoyed reading and knitting. She will be remembered as a nurturing, optimistic, and independent woman who devoted her life to her family. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, January 9, 2010 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM followed by a funeral service at 11 AM in the funeral home.
