Elizabeth "Betty" A. Cronin , 96 of Guilford, CT formerly of Sherborn, Braintree and Quincy, MA passed away at her home on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026. Wife of the late LT COL John Dennis Cronin, Army, USA, Retired. Mrs. Cronin was born in Dorchester, MA on December 14, 1929, daughter of the late Joseph Michael Goode and Ethel (Killian) Goode.

Loving mother of Neil J. Cronin (Katja Pione) of Quincy, MA, Anne E. Wilbur (Michael Wilbur) of Guilford, CT and Janet Cronin–Rumanoff (Steven Rumanoff) of Guilford, CT and Marion Cronin of San Diego, CA. In addition to her children she is survived by her 6 grandchildren. Rory, Celia and Liam Cronin, Justin Wilbur and Maya and Zoë Rumanoff. Elizabeth is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her siblings, Helen, Jane, Dorothy, Joseph, Francis, Paul, Mary, her twin brother Edmund, and Ethel Ann.

Elizabeth is a 1947 graduate of North Quincy High School. She enjoyed golfing, reading, gardening, spirituality, and good conversation. She was a long time employee of MIS Corp in Norwell, MA.

Family and Friends are invited to a memorial service at Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy MA, on October 3, 2026 from 10-12. Luncheon immediately following at the Common Market Restaurant, 97 Willard Street, Quincy, MA.

Burial services will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA on a later date.
