Elizabeth M. “Betty” Beatty

Beatty, Elizabeth M. (Kavanaugh) “Betty” passed away peacefully on May 17, 2011 at the John Scott House in Braintree. Born and raised in Dorchester, Betty moved to Quincy in the 1960’s and for the past 12 years has lived in Braintree. For over 40 years, she worked as an administrative assistant for MIB Associates. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting. Loving sister of Paul and Thomas Kavanaugh, both of Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 1-3 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by a service at 3 PM in the funeral home. Cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Betty may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
