Elizabeth M. Rodney

Rodney, Elizabeth M. (Mackie) of Rockland, died June 30, 2016.

Elizabeth grew up in Herrin, IL and was most recently a resident of Rockland, MA. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She could be found canning and freezing the fruits of her labor for family and friends to enjoy. She was devoted to her family.  

Devoted mother of Mary Pacella and her late husband Joseph of Middleboro and William J. Rodney and his wife Brenda of Columbus, OH. Loving sister of Eleanor Ann Hobbs of Raynham and the late Bryan Mackie, Elva Flynn and Mary Henderson. Cherished grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday at 2 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elizabeth may be made to Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
