Esmeraldo N. “Esmie” Esguerra

Esguerra, Esmeraldo N. “Esmie” of Quincy October 25,2008. Loving husband of Rosalina (Gozo) Esguerra of Quincy, devoted father of Wilfredo Esguerra and his wife Raquel of Braintree, Merlie and Danilo Esguerra both of Quincy, uncle of Eleonor Esguerra, Tatay of Rachel and Raphael Esguerra. Mr. Esguerra was born in the Phillipines. He lived in South Boston before moving to Quincy where he has lived for the past 28 years. Esmeraldo was employed by Gillette manufacturing Co. in South Boston as a machine operator for 10 years before retiring in 1999. Esmeraldo was also a proud retired United States Coast Guard Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, watching Boxing and Red Sox games on the television. Esmie loved taking long drives with his wife Rosalina. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Saturday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 5- 9 and Friday 5- 9 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
