Filomena Dentino (Pomarico) of Weymouth, died April 15, 2016 at the age of 95.
Filomena worked for Brady Enterprises in Weymouth for several years. She was a member of the Weymouth Choral Group for over 25 years and was a woman of strong faith. She was recognized by the Norfolk County R.S.V.P for her many years of volunteer work at South Shore Hospital and received The President’s Call to Service Award.
Wife of the late John J. Dentino. Loving mother of Frances M. Paolucci of Weymouth and her late husband Carl, Maria Daley and husband Richard of FL, and John A. Dentino and wife Janet of Plympton. Sister of the late Joseph A. Pomarico of Quincy and the late Lucy F. Pomarico. Aunt of Betty Ann Pomarico of Quincy. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in memory of Filomena may be made to RSVP c/o Lillian Hartman, RSVP Director Norfolk County Commissioners’ Office, 614 High St., Dedham MA 02027 or the Friends of the Weymouth Council on Aging, 182 Green St., Weymouth, MA 02191.
