Ferrara, Frances A. of Hull, died February 24, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
Frances graduated from South Boston High School. She was a pioneer and went on to become the first woman in Waltham Business Forms in 1960. Later on in the 60’s, she worked for the Post Office and was promoted to manager, quite an accomplishment in that time. She loved to paint, travel, knit, and always made hand appliquéd Christmas stockings for all of the children in her life. Frances was very artistic and took art lessons at the Museum of Fine Arts. She enjoyed playing bingo and gambling, listening to opera music and going to the beach. Every year, she and her family would go to Block Island for 4 weeks together. Her greatest passion in life, however, was her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren dearly.
Daughter of the late Frank and Concetta (Ciccolo) Alessi. Beloved wife of the late Fred Ferrara. Loving mother of Linda J. Monaco and her husband Dominic of East Haven, CT, Denise Luther and her late husband William of Hull, the late Fred V.
