Francis B. “Frank” Gilmore

Gilmore, Francis B. “Frank” of Quincy, passed away on September 26, 2009. Beloved husband of Mary (Flaherty) Gilmore. Devoted father of Anmarie, Thomas and Patricia Gilmore all of Dorchester and Beverly Gilmore Arki of Braintree. Loving brother of the late Helen Kennedy and Marie Joyce. Cherished Papa of 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Frank worked as a Chemical Engineer for The Gillette Company in South Boston for 28 years before retiring in 1987. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday from 4 PM – 8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Burial in Massachusetts National, Bourne at 12:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Frank to Father Bill’s Place, 38 Broad Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
