Mr. George A. Zmudzien, of Weymouth, passed away on March 16, 2026. He was 90. 

George was an accountant for many years. He always enjoyed following his fellow Boston sports teams as well as playing basketball himself with friends every Friday night until the age of 80. 

Beloved husband of the late Joan M. (Keefe). 

Loving father of Richard Zmudzien and his girlfriend, Beth Farrell Nugent of Braintree, Joseph Zmudzien and his girlfriend, Geraldine Halpin of Hingham, George Zmudzien, Jr and his wife, Sarah, of Plymouth, Mark Zmudzien and his wife, Stephanie, of Pembroke, and Leah Zmudzien of Weymouth. Father in law of the late Kathleen Zmudzien. Grandfather of Richard, Redmond, Ryne, George III, and Andrew. Great Grandfather of Kennedy, Jamie, Matthew, and Bryce. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 3/26/2026 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square). 

Funeral services and burial will be private.
