Geraldine A. “Gerry” Carroll

Geraldine A. (Suk) Carroll of Rockland, died at home surrounded by her family on September 15, 2023.  The beloved wife of the late Daniel M. Carroll, Sr. Loving mother of Terri Foley and her husband David, Denise Carroll and Rose Tomasello all of Rockland, Daniel M. Carroll, Jr . and his wife Elida of Braintree, James Carroll of Brockton, the late Robert, Richard and John Carroll.  Daughter of the late Gerald Suk and Mary (Doyle) Suk. Sister of Justine Notorangelo of Weymouth, Jacqueline VanDerMolen of Hanson and the late Maryanne Brubaker and Frank Suk. Grandmother of Jonathan, Conor, Matthew, Samantha, Steven, Aaron, Nicole, Madison, Zachary, Nathaniel, Joshua and Ella. Great Grandmother of  Velouria, Audree and Sophia. Geraldine is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gerry worked at Quincy Mutual for many years. After retirement she went back to work with adults with disabilities, where she shared her fun loving ways and made an incredible impact in their lives. Gerry enjoyed spending summers in New Hampshire and Cape Cod. She enjoyed the outdoors, sitting around the pool doing her word search puzzles. Her biggest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her extended family and friends. Gerry will be sadly missed. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 21 at 10:45am in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Geraldine may be made to Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
