Gordon Kenneth Lundberg Jr.

Gordon Kenneth Lundberg Jr of Hull, passed away on Monday, November 25th, 2024. He was 71.

He was born in Boston to Mary (Metrick) and Gordon Kenneth Lundberg Sr. He grew up in South Boston and attended the Boston Latin School. After high school, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. 

Gordon was a lifelong Architect and Structural Engineer. His career began at Wilber Yoder Associates. When he moved to the Boston area, he started as an engineer with Charles Chaloff Consulting Inc. He then transitioned into a project manager role with Weidlinger Associates and then senior project manager at McNamara Salvia Structural Engineers. He ended his long and distinguished career with Veitas & Veitas as an engineer. 

His passions included art and watercolor painting, fishing, and foraging for mushrooms in Wompatuck State Park. He loved the ocean and all things nautical.

Gordon was a talented artist and exhibited his work at many art shows and even received numerous awards throughout his life. He was an avid participant in the local artist community.

Gordon is survived by his children, Kristian Lundberg and his wife Kristan of Whitman, and Leah Lundberg of Weymouth. Grandfather to Adeline Lundberg of Whitman. Brother to Clifford Lundberg of Ft. Meyers, FL, Andrew Lundberg of Hull, and Andrea Egan of Hull. Also survived by his former wife, Donna Lundberg of North Port, FL, nephews: Justin Amendolare of Hull, Evan Lundberg of Plymouth, NH, Jake Lundberg of Bridgewater, NH, and his niece, Emma Lundberg of Boise, ID. 

Services for Gordon will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gordon can be made to the Hull Lifesaving Museum, 1117 Nantasket Ave, Hull, MA 02045 or the Hull Artists, 121 Nantasket Ave, Hull, MA 02045.
