H. Michael Marks

Marks, H. Michael “Mike” of Quincy, died August 12, 2013.

Mike’s life centered firmly around his two boys and he adored them.  He was a 1978 graduate of North Quincy High School and worked as a Mortgage Broker for Commonwealth Mortgage of Quincy.  His true passion was hockey, a sport he has loved his entire life.  He skated for North during high school and has been a longtime member of Quincy Youth Hockey, serving as coach, volunteer and mentor.  Mike put up an unbelievable fight against his cancer in order to spend as much time with his boys that he possibly could. 

Beloved father of Timothy and Daniel Marks of Quincy.  Loving son of Marguerite (Foley) and the late Joseph Marks of Quincy.  Cherished brother of Joseph Marks of Weymouth, Kathleen Ross of FL, Maureen Graney of Milton, Brian Marks of Wareham, Marguerite Pujalte of Halifax, and Paul Marks of Quincy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 40 Sea Street, NORTH WEYMOUTH (off RT 3A – Bicknell Sq.)  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 11:15 AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 12 PM.  Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
