Helen H. (Rook) Kelley

Helen H. (Rook) Kelley, of New Bedford, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025. She was 96.

Born in Dorchester in 1929, she was the daughter of Gustav and Anna (Pichler) Rook.

Wife of the late Willard L. Kelley. Devoted mother to Daniel Haskell and his wife Karen of South Yarmouth and the late Elise Haskell-Mitchell. Loving grandmother to Stephanie Gordon of Jackson, TN, Mark Haskell and his wife Susan of Warren, ME, Todd Haskell and his husband Lorenzo Cirilo Haskell of Atlanta, GA, Eric Haskell and his wife Anne McGuire of Hingham, Lauren O'Donoghue and her husband Allan of Sturbridge, and Sara Hanks and her husband Simeon of Satellite Beach, FL. Great grandmother to Isabel Gordon, Dolan Rose O'Donoughue, Andrew Terry Haskell and Simon James Haskell. Sister to the late Margaret Mason and Gustav S. Rook.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 9-11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Her funeral service will be celebrated immediately following the visiting hours on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11 AM in the funeral home.

Services will conclude with interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at 1:45 PM.
