McCarthy, Helen V. of Quincy, June 30, 2004. Daughter of the late John J. and Helen E. (Barry) McCarthy. Sister of the late John V. McCarthy & Dorothy McCarthy and the late Dr. Robert L. McCarthy. Dear Aunt of Dr. Robert L. McCarthy of Shirley and Diane M. Loreth of Braintree. Helen is also survived by 6 Grand nieces and nephews. Helen worked at the Charles C. Main Engineering Firm in Boston for 25 years as a travel coordinator. She retired back in 1984. She also volunteered at Milton Hospital. She also volunteered as a civil air patrol. Helen traveled extensively with her late sister Dorothy McCarthy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 PM. Burial in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline. Donations in memory of Helen may be made to Children’s Hospital, 300 Longwood Avenue Boston, MA 02115.
