James H. Boudreau of Weymouth, a retired Weymouth Firefighter, died June 10, 2015 at the age of 87.
James served in the U.S. Army during WWII. After 33 years with the Weymouth Fire Department, James retired as a Lieutenant in 1984. He also worked part time as a truck driver for Weymouth Engineering. He was a life member of the Weymouth Elks and volunteered as an usher at Immaculate Conception Church as well as volunteering to work Bingo for both places.
Husband of the late Jean C. (Carmody). Loving father of Rev. Thomas C.Boudreau of Avon, Susan B. Maloney of Dover-Foxcroft, ME, and James C. Boudreau of So. Portland, ME. Devoted grandfather of Kelly Jean Boudreau and James B. Boudreau, both of Cumberland, ME. One of twelve brothers and sisters, James is survived by his sisters Clarisa O’Neill of Jacksonville, FL and Corinne Shea of Scituate. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Michael’s Church, 87 N. Main St., Avon at 11 AM. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
