James Machado Jr.

Machado, James, Jr.  of Quincy, died February 9, 2014.

Beloved husband of the late Alice (Antonitus) Machado.  Loving father of the  James J. Machado  and his wife Susan of Weymouth and AnnMarie Lanoue and her partner Daniel Sullivan of Braintree and the late Edward H. Machado. Brother of the late Herbert Marshall, Joseph Machado and William Marshall.  Cherished grandfather of James , Christopher and Jonathan Machado and Tiffany  and Peter  Lanoue.  Great-grandfather of Ava Grace, James, Tyler and Rosalie.

James was a lifelong resident of Quincy. He was self employed for over 60 years, he was the owner and operator of J & J Refrigeration in Quincy and Boston.  James had a love for the ocean, fishing and hunting.  He enjoyed getting together with friends and spending the holidays with his family and grandchildren.  He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
