James L. Pearsons

James L. Pearsons of Hingham died on April 26, 2025. The beloved husband of 61 years to Bonnie (Spink). Loving father to Christine and James Pearsons Jr and his wife Karen. He was Grampa to Anna, Thomas, Philip, and James.  Also, his brother Rob Pearsons, and brother-in-law Don Spink.

Jim’s career spanned many years working as a mechanic for his father, and a carpenter in his younger years. He then became a drafter and electrician for Quincy shipyard. He ended his career managing a fleet of cargo ships for the DOD at AMSEA of Quincy.

Jim was a master craftsman. He loved the ocean, fishing and just relaxing on his boat. Jim also enjoyed gardening. Most of all he loved and adored his grandchildren. They were the pride and joy of his life.
