Timilty, Jane K. of Quincy, died February 5, 2018.
Jane was a very active member of her community. She worked for many years as an Insurance Administrator for Deland Gibson Insurance. Her church was a meaningful part of her life and she was a former president of the North Quincy Catholic Women’s Club and ran the annual Christmas craft fair at Sacred Heart School for many years. She also volunteered her time at Interfaith Social Services. An avid traveler, she enjoyed her timeshares on Cape Cod and Hawaii. Her hobbies included bowling and caring for her cats. She will be remembered as a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, and a caring and religious friend to many.
Beloved daughter of the late Salvatore “Sam” Masotta and Katherine (Keohane) Masotta. Loving sister of Josephine Rychalsky and her husband Alex of Marshfield, Richard Masotta and his wife Marjorie of Cohasset, and the late William Timilty. Dear friend of Priscilla Langille of Quincy. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jane may be made to Interfaith Social Services, 105 Adams Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
