Joan E. (Kilpatrick) Donovan, 92, of Punta Gorda, Florida, died April 9, 2026. Joan was born and raised in Quincy, MA, the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Kilpatrick. Joan was a hard-working, creative woman who enjoyed raising her family, starting her own business, and getting her Master's Degree at age 89. Joan was also an avid gardener and painter. She loved being one of the “9 Cousins” and attending family reunions.

Joan was preceded in death by Kenneth Donovan, her loving husband of 66 years, her beloved son, Robert Donovan, and her dear sister, Barbara Lawson. She is survived by daughters Gail McCarthy (Steve) and Kendra Arocho (Rocky), and sons Peter, David (Sheila), and Paul (Janine). Joan was the cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday, April 26th, from 11:00 - 11:30 AM, followed by a celebration of life ceremony at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA.
