John Leo Collins passed away at 72 years of age on July 18, 2026 in Quincy.

He was born to Edward Francis and Dorothy Elizabeth Collins on December 12, 1953 in Quincy, MA. John lived in Quincy, MA all his life. He worked for forty years at Sears with several job classifications. He retired early at the age of fifty six to enjoy his remaining years doing what he wanted. John enjoyed traveling, reading, all types of music, using a computer and going to movies.

John was preceded in death by his parents and by his two brothers, Edward Francis and Gary Charles. He is survived by his sister in law Linda, her son James, her daughter Adelle and Adelle's family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 7/24/2026 from 11 AM-1 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by a graveside service at Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
