John J. Shea

Shea, John J. of Hingham, formerly of Milton, passed away November 25, 2012 after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Patricia (Morris) Shea. Loving father of John J. Shea and his wife, Donna, of Weymouth, Thomas H. Shea of Mansfield, Dennis M. Shea and his wife, Lee Ann of Rockland, Timothy Shea and his wife Amy, of Haverhill, Jean Maloney and her husband, Frank, of Rockland, and Susan Aylward and her husband, Jimmy, of Rockland. Cherished grandfather (Moosie) of 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Mr. Shea was employed for the U.S. Postal Service for many years until his retirement. He was also a friend of Bill W and a Korean War veteran serving with the U.S. Army. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hingham Senior Center, 224 Central Street, Hingham, MA 02043.
