John O’Brien

O’Brien, John J. of Quincy January 26, 2004. Husband of the late Barbara (Bruce) O’Brien. Loving father of Sheilah O’Brien of Quincy and Anne O’Brien of WI. Brother of Dolly Bersone of FL and Shirley Helleberg of Roslindale.Mr. O’Brien served in the Navy during WWII. He worked as a police officer, a postal worker and most recently as an security guard at the JFK Library in Boston. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Shriners. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston Friday at 10 AM. Inurnment in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.Donations in memory of Mr. O’Brien may be made to Shriners Burn Institute, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02109.
