John W. Fallon Jr., “Jack” 77 of Mashpee, MA formerly of Braintree, MA passed away surrounded by his loving family on September 28, 2026.

John was born in Dorchester on July 27th, 1949 to the late John and Mary Marguerite Fallon. John was raised in Dorchester. He was a 1967 graduate of Boston Tech High School and received a Bachelors of Economics from Boston State College. John held various positions throughout his life most notably as a self employed master electrician for more than 30 years.

John was most at home on the water. He had a passion for sailing, fishing and scuba diving. He also enjoyed great food and traveling with his family. John lived in Popponessett, Cape Cod.

John is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Cheryl (Hallam) Fallon, his daughter Tara Fallon of Mashpee, MA, his son John Fallon III of Grafton, MA and his daughter Lauren Pineo and son in law Brian Pineo of Plymouth MA. Loving brother of the late Laurence, “Larry” Fallon and wife Susan Fallon, Mary Fallon and Patricia Fallon all of Braintree, MA. He adored his four grandchildren who affectionately knew him as ‘Papa’: Brooks Pineo, Miller Pineo, Jack Fallon and Sailor Pineo. He is also survived by his goddaughter, Maguire Fanuele, and her husband Jason Fanuele. Loving brother in law to Pamela DeFederico and Lorna Murray and her late husband Robert Murray as well as many nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 10/2/2026 from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday 10/3/2026 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 990 LaGrange St., West Roxbury. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jack may be made to Cape Cod Commercial Fisherman’s Alliance.
