Joseph P. Ward

Ward, Joseph P. of Weymouth, passed away July 3, 2024. 

Joe was born in Weymouth to the late George and Anne Marie Ward. He was a lifelong resident of Weymouth and a 1978 graduate of Weymouth North High School. Joe had a special interest in culinary arts and attended Johnson and Wales University, he used his skills as a local chef. Joe also worked for the town of Weymouth for several years. 

Beloved partner of Elizabeth "Beth" Cronin of Weymouth. Loving stepfather of Meghan (Russell)of Weymouth, David Cronin of Weymouth and Daniel Cronin Jr of Weymouth. Dear brother of Jane George (the late Bob) of Duxbury, Kathleen Eaton (Daniel) of Duxbury, Gail Anderson (Michael) of Duxbury and Patrick Ward (Sabina Matos) of Providence, RI. Cherished grandfather of Joseph , John and James . Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Cremation will follow.
