Josephine A. Conti

Josephine A. (Cimo) Conti, of Weymouth, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on June 30, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and unwavering encouragement.

Anyone who knew Josephine knew how much her family meant to her—her love for them was the center of her world. She shared special bond with her two children, Kristine and Gino. Each relationship was unique, filled with its own special way of showing love, laughter, and understanding. Whether through words, traditions, or quiet moments together, the connection they shared was strong, loving, and unbreakable.

Josephine was known for the deep love she held for her grandchildren, known as “Grammie” to them. She was their biggest cheerleader, always offering heartfelt advice and constant support. Her favorite words to them were, “Never Be Afraid To Try” a mantra she instilled in those she loved most.

Her passions were simple yet full of joy. She loved spending time at the casino, where she’d light up with excitement at the sound of a jackpot. She adored every dog she ever owned, treating each one like family. Some of her happiest moments were spent at Disney with her family, soaking in the magic and making memories that will last forever.

Josephine found peace in the quiet moments too—sipping her morning coffee, sitting in her favorite recliner, and watching Hallmark movies. She also had a special fondness for sunflowers, as they could be seen scattered throughout the decorations in her home.

Loving mother of Kristine M. Conti of Weymouth, and Gino M. Conti and his wife Michelle (Violette) Conti of Weymouth, Proud grandmother of Gino A. Conti and Gianna M. Conti. Sister of Donna DiCenso of Thorndike, Dominic Cimo of Fall River, Lorraine Mackun of Wrentham, and the late Paul Cimo. Also survived and adored by many nieces and nephews who valued her counsel and never quite knew what Auntie was going to say or do next - which was all part of the fun.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 7/8/2025 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square).
