Justin R. Flannery, 20, of Braintree, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025. Born January 2, 2005, Justin was raised in South Weymouth and graduated from Weymouth High School where he did his best to achieve a perfect attendance and made many friends while completing the CTE Automotive program.
Beloved son of Robert J. Flannery III of Braintree and Christine Flannery of Weymouth, his sister Greta Flannery and brother Joseph Flannery. Also leaves behind his grandmother Alice Lotti of Marshfield and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents Doreen and Robert Flannery II and George P. Lotti.
He enjoyed football, country music and fixing cars, following in his dad’s footsteps as a gifted mechanic from a young age. A master chef on the grill at cookouts and a fisherman on the weekends. He loved to be by the water.
Always up for a challenge and willing to save the day for almost anyone. He had that hands-on, "let's make it work" attitude and could fix just about anything. He was unstoppable when it came to learning and problem-solving new things, tinkering around the house with little projects, fixing things or putting things together. He enjoyed making the people in his life happy with the skills he had intuitively inquired naturally.
Creative, imaginative, adventurous and he thoroughly enjoyed being a big brother! Justin was a prankster, always looking for some fun and kept his family on their toes. A big personality with charisma that we will miss dearly.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all that touched Justin’s life and invite you to join us.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday September 5th from 2-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
A celebration of life will take place the following day on Saturday, September 6th from 2-6PM at the Weymouth/Braintree Elks Lodge located at 788 Liberty Street Braintree MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Justin’s name may be made to the Weymouth Automotive CTE Program at the Weymouth High School or a mental health charity of your choice.
