Karen M. O'Neill

Ms. Karen M O’Neill (nee’ Croke) of Pembroke, passed away on October 26, 2025. 

She was 70.Born in Framingham, MA, the eldest daughter of the late Robert and Patricia (Shaw) Croke, she was raised in Williamsburg VA and Marshfield MA.

Beloved mother of Michaei O’Neill of Newport, RI, and wife of the late Billy O’Neill.

Loving sister of Christopher Croke and his wife, Mary of Narberth, PA, Kevin Croke and his wife, Judy, of Skillman, NJ, Elizabeth Sweeney and her late husband, Jim of Carver, Eileen Croke Dee and her husband, John, of Marshfield, the late Mark Croke and his surviving wife Peggy of Richmond, VA, the late Timothy Croke and his husband CJ Coughlin of Braintree, the late Daniel Croke and the late Robert Croke. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Karen loved the beach and everything that went with it. She also enjoyed being with family over a glass of wine. Her love for football and the New England Patriots was contagious. Football Sundays were a time for the family to go to Koko’s and “watch” the game. 

Her favorite movie was the original Overboard, and it was regularly binged. Also a fan of Friends, Modern Family and Big Bang Theory, anything where she could laugh. 

Her laugh and smile could lighten a room and was contagious.She could be found in her apartment, engrossed in watching Spanish news and Spanish soap operas. Easily persuaded to join her family for an afternoon or holiday get together, especially when she could spend time with her son Michael, who was her world and she his.
