Katherine A. Nickerson

Katherine “Kay” Agnes Nickerson (née McGrath), age 98, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, surrounded by family, in Duxbury, Massachusetts.

Born on September 23, 1926, in Boston, Massachusetts, Kay lived a long and meaningful life rooted in love and family. She was the beloved wife of Donald Nickerson, who preceded her in death. Together they built a life filled with devotion and care, raising their family with enduring strength and compassion.

Kay was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. Her legacy lives on through her surviving family: Kacie Townsend & her husband David, Donny Nickerson & his wife Wendy, Paul Nickerson & his wife Teresa, Michael Nickerson, Danny Nickerson, Edward Nickerson & his wife Dede, Jimmy Nickerson & his wife Michelle, Tommy Nickerson & his wife Sharon, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great great grandson and her sister Mary Alice Krim. She was predeceased by her cherished daughter Jeanne Mitchell and beloved granddaughter Kayla Mitchell.

Throughout her nearly century-long life, Kay touched the hearts of those around her with grace and unwavering dedication to her loved ones. Her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday June 6, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 AM in St. Mary's Parish in St. Ann's Church, Hull at 10 AM.
