Kathleen Louise Reynolds

Kathy was born on May 19, 1950, in Boston, MA to her beloved parents James and Marie Reynolds. She is survived by her sister Marie Wright and her husband, the late Stephen Wright, of Pembroke, MA and sister Patricia Scott and her late husband James Scott of Plainville, MA; her sister-in-law Barbara Reynolds of Plymouth; and aunt Joan Fader of Raynham. Kathy is the sister of the late Robert and his wife the late Christine Reynolds and the late James Reynolds, all of Plymouth. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Kathy grew up in Weymouth and despite her handicaps, she graduated from high school and spent hours listening to her favorite rock group (The Beatles). She spent her summers on Big Sandy Pond next door to her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She learned to swim, row a boat, and help her mom with chores.

After her mother Marie passed when Kathy was 15, she lived several years with her siblings. The family was fortunate to have a helping hand from a dedicated service known as Road to Responsibility who provided housing, a shared community of disabled individuals to thrive and live a quality life to the best of their abilities. Kathy lived in a special group home in Pembroke where the staff took wonderful care of her. She had roommates which she loved, especially Jenny. The staff and favorite nurse Lynda took Kathy to all her appointments, fun outings, dinners and celebrations, but always made sure she was well cared for. Each day, Kathy was transported to a day program where she learned crafts and made many friends and collected favorite recipes the staff helped her with so she could cook and entertain her friends.

Kathy loved to read especially Nicholas Sparks books, play word search, go bowling, go to dances, scratch tickets, entertaining with her friends going out to dinner and all the family traditions and events over the years.
