Kathleen M. Tirrell

Kathleen M. “Kathy” Tirrell (Boedeker) of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy, died December 24, 2025.

Kathy’s generous and caring nature led her to a career in healthcare as a home health aide for NVNA. Later, she used her creativity to develop a hand made jewelry business and showcased at various craft fairs in the area. Kathy had a deep love and connection for whales and will be scattered at sea at a later date following her services.

She was the beloved wife of 27 years to Wayne F. Tirrell. Loving mother of Anthony Caruso of Abington. Proud grandmother of Julia and Ryan Caruso. Loving sister of Karen Fay of Braintree, Colleen Edge of Weymouth, and William Boedeker of Quincy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 1/6/2026 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday 1/7/2026 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
