Keith A. Morano, of Norwell, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham. He was 52.
Keith was born in Quincy on November 17, 1972. He was raised in Quincy, attended local schools and graduated from Quincy High School.
Keith dedicated 25 years of his career to the telecommunications industry as a proud member of Local 103. Throughout his career, he was known for his exceptional work ethic, his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need, and the genuine joy he brought to the workplace. His laughter was infectious, and his presence a source of positivity for all who worked alongside him.
Outside of work, Keith was a man of many passions. He enjoyed spending his time on the water, whether boating on Boston Harbor around the harbor islands or relaxing on the shore during camping trips. His love of the outdoors was matched only by his deep affection for his family and friends, with whom he cherished countless memories. Whether it was a quiet evening with loved ones or a lively gathering, Keith had a special way of making everyone feel welcome and appreciated.
A diehard Boston Red Sox fan, Keith could always be found cheering on his team, sharing his love for the game, and celebrating their victories with the same enthusiasm he brought to every aspect of his life.
Keith was a cherished son of George A. Morano of Quincy and the late Cheryl A. (Hennebury) Morano, who died in 2021. He was the beloved brother of Melanie L. Richiusa and her husband Juan of Estero, Florida, and Alan G. Morano of Weymouth. Keith was the loving uncle of Lucas, Nicolas, Thomas, and Alex Richiusa, all of Florida, Bradley Morano of Attleboro, and Brian Berte of Quincy. Keith was the beloved partner of Kelly Flynn of Norwell and is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
