Kevin Charles Flaherty, a beloved husband, father, mentor, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Brewster on November 16, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on January 9, 1966, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, Kevin's legacy will forever be cherished by his family and the countless lives he touched throughout his journey.
Kevin was the proud owner and operator of Flaherty Heating & Air Conditioning since 1984, a testament to his dedication, hard work, and commitment to providing exceptional service to the community. He was known not just for his skills in the trade, but also for his selfless nature. He approached life with a big heart, always ready to lend a helping hand and serve as a mentor to those around him. His generosity and kind spirit were truly remarkable and will never be forgotten.
Educationally, Kevin laid a strong foundation by attending Blue Hill Vocational Technical High School and furthering his studies at Northeastern University. This combination of education and hands-on experience enabled him to excel in his career.
Outside of his professional life, Kevin found great joy in his hobbies and interests. Conway, NH held a special place in his heart as the family’s summer retreat, where he created countless memories throughout his childhood and into adulthood. In his spare time, he relished fishing, camping, attending concerts, and cheering on the New England Patriots, sharing these passions with his loved ones.
Kevin is survived by his two devoted children, Andrew Flaherty and Shayla Flaherty, and his loving wife, Lissa Boutilier. He is also survived by his cherished nieces, Lisa Rippett and Jennifer Acosta, his cousins Mary Hunt, Janice McAuliffe and many more cousins, and his faithful dog, Dottie. Preceding him in death were his parents, Marie (McAuliffe) and Dennis Flaherty, as well as his siblings, Denise and Timothy Flaherty.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation which will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA.
