Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Kevin Quigley, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 8, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was 62 years old.

Born on May 4, 1964, Kevin was the youngest of five children born to the late Eleanor and James Quigley. He grew up in Germantown, where he built lifelong friendships and developed the values that would define his life: family, community, loyalty, and hard work

Kevin graduated from high school in 1982 then married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Pamela. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on family, love, and an unwavering commitment to one another. Their marriage was a true partnership that endured through both life’s greatest joys and its most difficult challenges. Kevin’s career consisted of 27 years in the sprinkler fitters union. Kevin spent his final years of his career as service manager, where he built strong relationships and enjoyed day-to-day tasks with his guys in the field.

Kevin and Pamela were blessed with four children: Matthew, Daniel, Shawn, and Brianna, all of whom were the pride and joy of his life. He was a devoted father who led by example, always putting his family first and offering endless support, wisdom, encouragement, laughter, and love.

In 2022, Kevin suffered the heartbreaking loss of Pamela. During her illness, he cared for her with extraordinary devotion, giving everything he had to ensure she was surrounded by comfort, dignity, and love when she needed it most. Their bond was one of deep affection and unwavering commitment. He carried her memory in his heart every day and found comfort in the life and family they built together.

Nothing brought Kevin greater happiness than being surrounded by his growing family. He cherished his role as “Papa” and treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren: Samantha, Cameron, Brayden, Morgane, Jackson, Lainey, and Charlie. He was also eagerly anticipating the arrival of his newest grandson, Brianna and Patrick’s baby boy, whom he looked forward to meeting. Kevin’s legacy of love, kindness, strength, and devotion will live on through each of them.

Kevin is survived by his loving children, Matthew, Daniel, Shawn, and Brianna; his daughters-in-law, Caitlyn, Angela, and Alex; his siblings, Jim and his wife Kathy, Steven, and his partner Christine and Annmarie Florentine. Kevin is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pamela; his parents, James and Eleanor Quigley; his sister, Ellen; and his niece, Andrea.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday, June 15th from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, June 16th at 9:45am in Keohane Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Parish in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Sea St. Quincy on Tuesday at 10:30.
