Lawrence A. Yalowchuk of Brockton , passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 30, 2024. He was 57 years old.
Born in Weymouth he was the son of the late Stanley and Doris Yalowchuk. Larry was a graduate of Bristol Agricultural High School and then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served overseas during the Persian Gulf War where he was awarded medals as an expert marksmen and a rifle sharpshooter. He was employed at Cushman and Wakefield in the Facility Engineering Department. Larry loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
Beloved brother of Debra Walsh and her husband David of Plympton, Kathy Bauer and her late husband James of South Carver, and the late Daniel Yalowchuck. Cherished uncle of Scott Bauer of South Carver and Samantha Walsh of Vancouver B.C. Larry will also be remembered by many extended family members, coworkers and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 2/8 from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth on Friday 2/9 at 10 AM. Burial to follow in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Larry may be made to American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701.
