Shea, Leah M. (Walsh) of Quincy, passed away August 24, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Leah was born in South Boston and spent summers in Rocky Nook Point in Kingston, where she met her husband Larry. She was a devout Catholic and attended daily Mass. Leah and Larry walked the 500 miles for the Way of St. James (Camino) in Spain. She worked at Boston Scientific in customer service for many years, but was a born caregiver. She took care of her parents, sister, and many friends in their time of need. Her family was very important to her and she was a devoted Granny to her grandchildren. Leah was an avid gardener and a member of the Wollaston Garden Club, and enjoyed traveling and painting. She was a caring, compassionate, and sweet woman with a beautiful smile and had many great friends. She will be deeply missed.

Beloved wife of 54 years to Lawrence M. Shea of Quincy. Devoted mother of Eva Shea of Quincy, Matthew BaileyShea and his wife Chelsea of Pittsford, NY, Gregory Shea and his wife Ashley of North Andover, and the late Tessa Shea. Cherished sister of Joseph Walsh and his partner Gayle of Punta Gorda, FL and the late Kit Walsh. Loving Granny of Kilian and Rory BaileyShea and Kyler, Hannah, and Julie Shea. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 8/27/2026 from 8:30-10 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by the Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Cremation will follow. Interment will be private. Donations in memory of Leah may be made to the St. Yves School Foundation Corp., 64 Holmes St., Quincy, MA 02171, in support of Haiti.
