Lois Snow passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on March 8, 2026.
Born in Boston in June 1947 to Arthur Litchfield and Mary Geikie Litchfield, Lois grew up in Weymouth and was a proud graduate of Weymouth High School.
Loving mother of Rhonda Lotti of Weymouth, Erica Furtado and her husband, Chris, of Pembroke, and Courtney Rudinoff and her husband, Paul of Plymouth.
Grandmother of Katrina Lotti, the late Mariah Lotti, Colby Snow and his wife Chingching, Kierra Furtado, Owen Rudinoff, Luke Rudinoff, and Conner Furtado.
From a young age, Lois dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and her deep love for animals remained a constant throughout her life. Her home was always filled with the companionship of rescue animals, each one a reflection of her compassion and care.
Lois was also a dedicated small business owner, transforming her modest barber shop into a thriving beauty supply store. A savvy and forward-thinking businesswoman, she was always exploring new ways to grow and evolve her work.
Above all, Lois found her greatest joy in being an active part of her grandchildren’s lives, creating lasting memories through shared adventures. She was generous with her time, selfless in spirit, and always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Lois will be missed in ways that words cannot fully express, but her family takes comfort in knowing she was undoubtedly welcomed on the other side by many loved ones, including her beloved father—her person—her cherished granddaughter, Mariah, and the many rescue animals she gave a loving home to throughout life.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
