Ferrara, Louis A. “Louie” of Quincy, July 9, 2003. Beloved husband of Nancy (Barry) Ferrara. Loving father of Steven A. Ferrara and his wife, Ana Cecilia, of Quincy, Joseph A. Ferrara of Plymouth, and Mary C. Ferrara of Quincy. Dear brother of Raffaela Luchosky, Nicholas Ferrara, and Catherine D’Amato, all of Dedham and the late Paul Ferrara, Luca Ferrara, Pauline Kain, Josephine Kane, and Frances Ford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Monday at 8:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Member of Local 369 for 48 years. Mr. Ferrara was a talented athlete. He played minor league baseball in Boston and for the South Boston Chippewas a football team in South Boston. Mr. Ferrara loved to meet his old friends at the Farragut Statue in South Boston. In lieu of flowers Donations in memory of Louie may be made to the May Institute, 550 Main St., Mashpee, MA 02649, Att: Jill Manning.
